Setting up Chartmap™

Chartmap™ uses Product Portal for a streamlined software licensing and update experience.

Start NinjaTrader 8 (click “Yes” when asked by NinjaTrader to authorize the ProductPortal add on).
Add the Chartmap indicator to a chart (located within the Chartmap folder in the Indicators window).
The Product Portal registration window will automatically open. Register using the same email address associated with your subscription (i.e. your PayPal account email address). Chartmap should then show as “Active” under the Products tab in the Product Portal, indicating a successful installation.

Note: Chartmap™ may be simultaneously activated on up to two devices per subscription. Contact Support to remove an activation.

Selecting a chart: Small bar periods (i.e. 5 Minute) display the most heat map resolution due to the multi-timeframe nature of Chartmap™, though any bar type and period is supported. Since Chartmap™ merges data from multiple timeframes, it is only needed on a single chart (i.e. your entry chart) for each instrument.
Selecting a theme: Try different Chartmap™ themes to find your preferred heat map appearance. All themes show well on dark chart backgrounds. The Solid theme shows best on light chart backgrounds. You can adjust overall brightness using the slider on the chart.
Using Chartmap™: Chartmap™ boosts your market awareness. "Hot" areas on your chart reveal where the probability of a price reversal is above average. The "hotter" the color the higher the probability.
